Another beautiful [beta] Web 2.0 application brought to you by Google. Multiple views, multiple calendars, sharing calendars, super-cool interface (even cooler than Gmail). Of course it doesn’t match with the flying abilities of Google Earth, but it does set the standard for calendar applications on the browser. Go to Google Calendar. Writely Goes Google

I briefly reviewed Writely, the web word processor, a few couple of months ago in one of my blog posts. Quite recently, it appears that Google has acquired the company that develops Writely. I think that means we can expect great things to come with the development of Writely on Google’s scale. MyBB Development Update: Attachments

In anticipation of the release of first beta/preview of MyBB 1.2, I’ve been committing a lot of small features here and there. Some of them are from past suggestions on the Suggestions forum on the Community Forums (which proves that yes we do add features that people suggest to the MyBB releases). However, there are others that I have added on my own. One of the sections I concentrated on during the last few days was the Attachment Manager, in both the Admin CP and User CP. TOK Essay…Done!

Wednesday February 15th: TOK Essay: Done! Completed! Finished! No more drafts! Yay! (Not that much work needed to be done on it, but it just feels good to have finished something else towards my IB diploma :P) Next up: Geography field study! (Geography > History). The data we got from our study was… weird… but the upside to that is we’ll have lots to write for the Sources of Error and Evaluation of Technique. Well I guess that’s what we get when we rely on everyone in the class gathering data, and consequently have to ‘assume’ the data is ‘correct.’ Continue Reading
