Catholic. Software developer. Public transportation enthusiast.
I am currently a software developer at A Thinking Ape Entertainment Ltd. I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science with the Software Engineering Option. I primarily speak Python and C# these days, but in the past I've also done Objective-C, Java and PHP.
Outside of work, I'm a volunteer on the youth ministry team at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and also on the Canadian Ski Patrol team at Mount Seymour. I'm also an avid transit enthusiast/photographer.
I had my grad photo session yesterday. It was actually a fun experience. The photographer’s equipment was so cool – computers hanging from the ceiling, hanging lights, fake rooms. I think my glasses were an inconvenience to the photographers…and they didn’t take out the lenses as they were supposed to.
Well anyway it was interesting seeing everyone in suits and dresses.
Presenting in TOK is completely different than presenting in English. In English, only 2 people are looking at you, the rest are either sleeping or doing other work. In TOK, almost everyone is staring at you .
There are only several hours left until this unexpected “vacation” would probably end :(. Back to school for the second time this year! They should have gotten the teachers to vote yesterday so that we would know whether or not there will be school tomorrow instead of finding out late tonight.
Anyway I pretty much screwed up these two weeks without school. EE, TOK presentation, etc.
